Old-time bodybuilders that you might have missed
Thousands of hours spent in the gym during their bodybuilding career, but the following old-time bodybuilders have not won many glory and trophies. The reason is not because they did not good enought but that they have been competing together with many other bodybuilding legend.
Ray join Mr. Olympia from 1988 to 2001 (also the year he retired), but the highest position that he reached is still only 2nd place (1996). Although training so hard but he was unable to overcome his opponent that is Dorian Yates who won six six consecutive Mr.Olympia titles from 1992 to 1997.
Levrone really a great bodybuilder but unlucky he had to compete with two legendary bodybuilders are Dorian Yates and Ronnie Coleman – two former champions Mr.Olympia.
Wheeler won only 2nd place in Mr. Olympia in 1993, 1998 and 1999 and then to retire in 2003 with no Mr.Olympia title. In the past, Wheeler had encountered a horrific car accident that nearly killed him, and has left him bedridden for some time. However with strong will, extraordinary efforts, Wheeler has gradually regained an all what that accident has robbed him.
Although joined Mr.Olympia to 10 times, but so far he has not won a trophy from this competition except the 2nd place in 2009.
The highest ranking in Mr. Olympia which Ferrigno had achieved is 2nd place in 1974; a year later he was only 3rd place and lower place in the next contests and then retired in 1994.
Always beat his to won the Mr.Olympia title is also a great bodybuider – Phil Heath. With 3 2nd place from 2012 to 2014, he has not come back to Mr.Olympia contest so far.
